Nutrition Coaching

Weight loss and fat loss are two very different things, especially when you want to maintain lean muscle mass.

FAD diets DON’T work. We are going to educate you with the basics of biochemistry; how your body reacts in terms of metabolism. We will create a personalized nutrition plan depending on the demands of each day of your week. With this approach, we are making sure that we are respecting scientific principles.

Eat to perform

You are an athlete, and you need to fuel your body as such. Lufe and Jeannine are Sports Nutrition specialists that have been working for many years from the athletic perspective of how to fuel your body for active human demands. What does that mean? We are not Dietitians working with sedentary people.  We cannot and will not prescribe you non-sense low caloric, low carb, extreme fat, ketonic, or paleo diets, just to name a few. These types of “diets” are not sustainable nor healthy long term. If you are training at OnePlus, your body is active. Once you are fueling your body properly, you will see how it adapts and starts to drop fat while you are toning, sculpting and maintaining or increasing your lean mass. Your nutrition is the key to encourage strength and endurance, muscle growth and again, lead to fat loss.

We know how confusing it can be given all of the conflicting information there is at your fingertips. With our scientific approach, there are no strict rules, no dietary restrictions, and no “one fits all” template. Our nutrition coaching is the most personalized program that we can offer inside or outside of our gym.

How do I start?

Step 1: Be active. Come to class and have quality training sessions with any of our OnePlus Strength and Conditioning Programs.

Step 2: Write down a food log for at least 1 week. We want the most detailed information about your eating habits, from when you wake up until you go to bed. This will be the most important data for our nutrition specialist.

Step 3: Set up an appointment with Coach Lufe or Coach Jeannine.

Step 4: Be consistent and educate yourself.

Step 5: Follow up and reevaluate your progress and results.

Nutrition Coaching Packages

Private Consultation:
  • Full Body composition test. This is the baseline where we tell you how much muscle and fat your body currently has (full body test consisting of 9 skin folds)
  • 60-90 minutes of “one on one” education related to nutrition, depending on your knowledge level.
  • Data tracking and interpretation extracted from your own nutrition food log.
  • Build a personalized nutrition plan based on personal goals, eating habits, daily activities, body composition and body type, among other variables.
  • 1 month of follow ups, personalized nutrition coach, minors “tweaks” or nutrition plan adjusts.
  • Body composition reevaluation after 60-90 days

Price:  $225

Follow Up:
  • 30-60 minutes meeting
  • Nutrition Plan reevaluation and/or create a new nutrition plan depending on changes to your goals.
  • Body composition (full body test consisting on 9 skin folds)
  • 1 month follow up

Price: $125

Online Coaching:
  • 60-90 minutes of “one on one” online education related to nutrition, depending on your knowledge level.
  • Data tracking and interpretation extracted from your own nutrition food log.
  • Build a personalized nutrition plan based on personal goals, eating habits, daily activities, body composition and body type, among other variables.
  • 1 month of follow ups, personalized nutrition coach, minors “tweaks” or nutrition plan adjusts.

Basic Consultation:
  • Basic body composition test (4 skin folds)
  • Specific questions about your current nutrition plan.
  • We cover the principles of sports nutrition (pre and post workout, recovery, micro and macro nutrients, resources, meal distribution, etc.,)
  • Specific nutritional routines for training and non-training days based on personal goals.
  • 60 minutes of nutrition education.
